One device. Several ways to work with the remote network.
LANhopper stays at the site and gives you practical access to equipment on its local network. Open a web interface, start a terminal, inspect the network or return through a saved connection.
The LANhopper device starts its connection from inside the remote network. The site does not need a public IP address or incoming port forwarding.
Use the equipment's own web configurator.
Enter the local address and port of a router, controller, camera or other appliance. LANhopper opens its HTTP or HTTPS interface through a temporary web connection, so you can work with the page that is already built into the equipment.
- Choose automatic protocol detection, HTTP or HTTPS.
- Use an IP address or host name and any valid port.
- Save working connection details for the next visit.

Start an SSH, Telnet, RS-232 or RS-485 session from the device page. The browser is enough for direct work. Technical users can also keep their own SSH workflow for jump access, local port forwarding or a SOCKS5 proxy.
- Set the target host and port for SSH or Telnet.
- Choose the serial line, speed, data bits, parity and stop bits.
- Use a public SSH key from your LANhopper account with your own client.
See what is connected before choosing what to open.
Check whether the LANhopper device is online, review its public and local network interfaces, and scan a local subnet when you need to find equipment. The network map shows addresses, MAC information, vendors and reachable ports.
- Live online, unresponsive and offline device states.
- Ethernet and Wi-Fi interfaces with their local addresses.
- Open web, SSH or Telnet access directly from discovered ports.

Name and tag each LANhopper device, then save working web, SSH, Telnet or serial settings as connection presets. When the same equipment needs attention later, the address, port and serial configuration are already attached to the site device.
- Give devices clear names, tags and stable device addresses.
- Name saved connections and launch them from the device page.
- On supported hardware, set the beacon color and operate a relay output.
Give the team the same view of the site.
Keep devices in a personal account or place them in a shared workspace. Invite colleagues and give them a role that fits their responsibility. Device presence, active terminal sessions and saved connections stay with the workspace rather than one person's notes.
- Owner, manager and member roles for shared workspaces.
- Workspace device health and active-session summaries.
- Visible serial-line occupancy before another person connects.
Check the technical details.
A compact view for visitors who already know the type of connection or information they need.
